2026 High School Winter Camp

This Winter Camp, we will be studying Matthew 7. Our goal is to direct students to the words of Jesus that call for genuine trust in Him and to the promise of His preservation for all who truly believe. Through Jesus’ teaching, students will be both encouraged and challenged to:

  1. Seek to hear and listen to Jesus’ Word.
  2. Seek to obey and apply God’s Word in their daily lives.
  3. Stand firm on the promises of Jesus’ Word, no matter the season or situation.

Because those whom Jesus saves, He unites to Himself—the solid Rock—and builds them up to stand firm. This truth gave birth to our theme for the winter camp: BUILT TO STAND.

Our students live in a world filled with countless voices demanding their attention, loyalty, and devotion. Yet, we trust that Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:24–27, together with supporting Scriptures, will not only encourage and challenge them, but also equip them to face a world that opposes God and godliness—not with fear, but with courage. We pray they will engage this world evangelistically, grounded in the truth that in Christ and His Word, they are built to stand—both now in this crooked and perverse generation, and forever with the eternal hope that nothing can separate them from the love of God in Christ Jesus their Savior.

High School Ministry

TUESDAY NIGHTS:

On regular Tuesday nights, our high school youth group meets for a time of worship, Bible study, games, and connecting from 6:30pm-8:50pm in our upstairs class gathering space. During this time, students are challenged from the Bible, and they are given an opportunity to form relationships with one another and adult leaders. Our teachings emphasize the unparalleled relevancy of God’s Word for all of life, the development of a thoughtful Christian worldview, the Spirit-empowered giftedness of all Christians for ministry, and God’s rescue mission to all nations.

From 8:00-8:50pm, students break up into small gender-specific groups with an adult leader. During this time, students are given the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers and a spiritual mentor so that they can be open with one another about what God is doing in their lives. They spend time going over the topic or passage introduced, emphasizing that the teachings of the Bible are relevant for all of life and our relationships, and they are encouraged to follow Jesus more closely and trust Him more dearly. And they get to pray with and for each other. From 8:45-9pm, it is time to head home.
